REGISTER OF GIG AND PLATFORM WORKERS AND PERIODIC RETURN OF PARTICULARS

Rule 48(2) of the Social Security (Central) Rules 2026 requires an aggregator to share the particulars of every gig and platform worker on the portal designated by the Central Government (existing workers within forty-five days of commencement of the Rules, new onboarding and exits in real time or daily, and updates monthly or as the portal specifies), but prescribes no register form. This register is the record behind those uploads, the engagement-day count that decides eligibility, the payouts used in Form XX, and the database a State board requires. The portal fixes the data fields and file layout: map the columns below to the portal's current template before the first upload, and record the template version in Part C. Keep full Aadhaar numbers out of this register; hold them only in the secured system that makes the upload, as the Aadhaar Act 2016 and its regulations require.
