Five parts: board resolution, intimation to the certifying officer, compliance report, display notice, and the deemed certification tracker
Use this format where an establishment to which Chapter IV of the Code applies (three hundred or more workers: section 28) adopts the Model Standing Orders 2026 for its sector as they stand. Under section 30(3) the adopted Model Standing Orders are deemed certified, and rule 10 requires the employer to inform the certifying officer of the date of adoption. If the employer wants to change any provision, this route is not available for the change: use "Standing orders for an industrial establishment, draft for certification" and the application in this pack.
Rule 10 in brief: intimation electronically, in person or by speed post (sub-rule 1); the adoption covers all units of the establishment (sub-rule 2); within thirty days the certifying officer may direct additional provisions if the establishment's activities differ from those the Model Standing Orders cover, and the employer must comply within thirty days and send a compliance report (sub-rule 4); if there is no observation within thirty days, the Model Standing Orders are deemed certified (sub-rule 5), effective from the date of adoption stated (sub-rule 6). No authentication is needed (rule 12). These are the Central rules; in the State sphere follow the State's rules.
