Covering letter, claim for reimbursement under the IPR component of the MSME Innovative Scheme
The IPR component pays after the patent is granted or the mark is registered, in a one-time reimbursement capped at between Rs 10,000 and Rs 5 lakh. Clients go wrong in three ways: they claim at filing; they claim a startup IP cost already met under SIPP; or they file in the founder's name without a Udyam registration in that name. The incubation and design components run through host institutes and design agencies, not directly with the enterprise. Digital MSME, in its announced new form, had not been launched.
