Dear Sirs,
We refer to your letter dated [Date of the assessee's letter appointing the auditor] / our discussion of [Date of discussion appointing the auditor] appointing us to carry out the audit of the accounts of [Name of the assessee] (PAN [Assessee's PAN]) for the year ended 31.03.2026 under section 44AB of the Income-tax Act, 1961. We are pleased to confirm our acceptance on the terms set out below. Please sign and return the duplicate of this letter in token of your agreement.
1. Scope of the engagement
(a) We will audit the balance sheet as at 31.03.2026 and the profit and loss account for the year then ended, and report in Form No. 3CB / refer to the statutory audit report in Form No. 3CA, as applicable.
