There is no open capital subsidy for textile machinery today: ATUFS is down to a token Rs 0.03 crore in the 2026-27 Budget, and its likely successor, the Textile Expansion and Employment Scheme inside the new Rs 1,500 crore Integrated Textile Programme, has no guidelines yet. Do not let a client buy looms or processing machinery now on the promise of a subsidy that may exclude pre-notification purchases.
