Letter to SIDBI seeking eligibility confirmation and indicative terms
SIDBI is three things at once, a direct lender to MSMEs, a refinancer of banks and NBFCs, and the manager of Government funds and programmes, and clients rarely know which door they need. The trap is the old product sheet: soft-loan schemes such as SMILE no longer appear on SIDBI’s product list, and SIDBI publishes almost no terms for its current products, so nothing should go into a client’s means of finance until SIDBI has issued a term sheet.
