The white goods PLI pays only for making components. Assembling air conditioners or LED lights earns nothing. It has reopened three times, most recently in Round IV (September to November 2025), but later entrants get only one or two incentive years. The investment and sales thresholds rise every year, and over-performance is not rewarded.
