Chartered Accountant's certificate of eligible expenditure, RPTUAS instalment claim

Outside PLI, the Department of Pharmaceuticals' money is small, specific and document-driven: RPTUAS pays at most Rs 2 crore for Revised Schedule M and WHO-GMP upgrades (raised from Rs 1 crore on 17.09.2024, old notes are wrong), SMDI runs 30-day proposal windows, and PRIP is research funding that the Government recovers through a share of sales or equity. The commonest failure is claiming RPTUAS on spend before 01.01.2024 or without the certificate the instalment requires.
