APPLICATION FOR OBTAINING THE STATUS OF A DORMANT COMPANY
The Chairman informed the Board that the Company [was incorporated for the purpose of ____ , which project has not commenced / holds only the immovable property situated at ____ / holds only the trade mark registered under number ____] and that it has not been carrying on any business or operation and has not made any significant accounting transaction during the last two financial years. He explained that in these circumstances the Company is an inactive company within the meaning of the Explanation to Section 455(1) of the Companies Act, 2013 and may apply to the Registrar of Companies for the status of a dormant company, with the consequent reduction in its compliance obligations.
