What you will still need outside this format:
- The engagement letter itself: use the accounting, GST, income-tax or secretarial engagement letter already in the catalogue and annex these schedules to it.
- Client acceptance, know-your-client and conflict check records, which are separate formats.
- The portal access arrangement and the records-sharing consent, which are separate formats.
- Engagement letters for representation, audit and certification work, which are engaged separately.
- For a firm of company secretaries, the Company Secretaries Act 1980 and ICSI provisions on fees, which replace the ICAI references in the fee schedule.
- Stamp duty on the signed engagement letter and schedules, where the State's Stamp Act treats them as an agreement.

SCHEDULE [Schedule number of the fee schedule]: FEE SCHEDULE AND BILLING TERMS
to the engagement letter dated [Date of the engagement letter] between [Name of the firm] and [Name of the client]
Use the Fee proposal and schedule (FV04-L9) or the Fee proposal and scope letter (FV03-K3) at the proposal stage; this schedule is the binding version annexed to the engagement letter once the proposal is accepted. Keep the fee lines that match the services marked "Yes" in Part A of the Scope, assumptions and exclusions schedule, and delete the others. Every amount is exclusive of GST.
1. Interpretation
1.1 In this Schedule the “Firm”, the “Client”, the “Engagement Letter”, the “Services” and “Out-of-scope Work” have the meanings given in the Scope, assumptions and exclusions schedule (the “Scope Schedule”). “Due Date”, for an invoice, means the date [Days allowed for payment of an invoice, e.g. fifteen] days after the date of the invoice.
